Dentist website design

Website design dentist practices need is straightforward: the dentist’s name, the suburb, the hours, the treatments, and a way to book or call.

HSJ Host is an Australian team. We build the site, host it, and change it when the hours, the dentists or the treatment list change. A single-location practice usually starts with five pages. We do not give clinical advice.

What the first screen has to do

Name the dentist, name the suburb, and put the phone or the booking step where a thumb can reach it.

What patients check before they call

A patient decides on a phone, usually before they scroll. They look for who the dentist is, the suburb, the hours, the treatments, and how to book. If those five are missing, or buried under a menu, they call the next practice.

Parking, or how to get there, goes on the contact page only when the practice supplies it. We do not guess a car park, and we do not write directions from a map we have not checked with the practice.

The same details have to match. The name in the header is the name on the invoice. The hours on the first screen are the hours on the contact page. A different number in the footer is how a call goes to the wrong place.

  1. 1

    Who the dentist is

The name, and a photo when the practice has one. A patient wants to know who they will see.

  2. 2

    The suburb

Where the practice is, named on the first screen. A map is useful. A page for every nearby suburb is not.

  3. 3

    The hours

The days and times the practice is open, written the same way in the header and on the contact page.

  4. 4

    The treatments

The list the practice already offers, in ordinary words. The site does not give clinical advice.

  5. 5

    How to book

A phone number that taps to call, and an enquiry. A booking link only when the practice already has a system.

What a modern dental site shows

The sites patients stay on show the people, the hours and the treatments, then make the next step obvious. They do not open with a slogan and a stock smile. The practice supplies the names, the photos and the treatment list. HSJ puts them where a phone can read them.

If the practice treats children, that is one line in the treatment list. It does not become a separate pediatric dentist website design.

  • Names and photos

Each dentist is named, with a photo the practice is happy to publish. A stock portrait of someone else does not go here.

  • Tap to call

The number is a link on a phone. It sits in the header, on the first screen and on the contact page. The same number in all three.

  • Hours

Open days and times, where they can be read without opening a menu. If the hours change, the site changes the same day.

  • Plain-language treatments

The practice writes the list. HSJ puts it on the page in the words a patient uses. No treatment is added that was not supplied.

  • A booking step, if one exists

If the practice already uses a booking system, the site links to it. We do not supply a new booking product.

What to leave off

  • A gallery of other clinics’ websites.
  • Clinical advice, or a treatment the practice did not name.
  • A new booking product. A link is added only to a system the practice already uses.
  • Parking or directions the practice did not supply.
  • A page for every suburb around the practice.
  • A dentist’s photo after that dentist has left.

Pages a dental practice usually needs

Home, treatments, the dentists, new patients and contact. A single-location practice can fit that into five pages. New-patient details can be their own page, or a form the practice already uses, on the contact page.

The fixed price is $3,500 including GST, delivered in 30 days. Hosting, one domain and the page copy are included. You send the names, the suburb, the hours, the photos and the treatment list. We write the five pages in plain language.

The full scope of that package is the 5-page business site.

Home

The dentist’s name, the suburb, the hours and the phone, on the first screen. A booking step only if the practice already has one.

Treatments

The treatment list the practice supplies, in plain language. Nothing is added that the practice did not name.

The dentists

Each dentist’s name and photo, and the work they do at this practice. A dentist who has left does not stay on the page.

New patients

What a first visit involves, in the practice’s words, or a form the practice already uses. This can be its own page or part of contact.

Contact

The same phone number, the hours, the suburb, and how to book or send an enquiry. Parking only if the practice supplies it.

Dental website design in Australia

Patients in Australia look for a local phone number, the suburb, and the practitioner’s name. Website design for dentist practices on this page means the practice supplies the treatment list, and HSJ puts that list on the site in plain language.

We do not give clinical advice, and we do not add a treatment the practice did not name. The hours, the phone and the suburb are the practice’s. If a detail is missing, we ask for it. We do not fill the gap with a guess.

The page is for a practice anywhere in the country. The suburb on the site is the suburb the practice gave us. There is no separate page for one city, and no page for every suburb around the clinic.

Practices with more than one dentist

Five pages is enough when one location can explain the work once. It gets bigger when several dentists each need a name and a photo, when treatments need their own pages, or when the practice already has a booking link that has to sit next to the phone.

That work is a larger custom site, quoted from $5,000 including GST. If the build has to be WordPress, that is custom WordPress work.

Those pages carry their own scope. This page stays the five-page practice site. A second location is a larger job, quoted on its own, not a copy of the first five pages with the suburb swapped.

After the site is live

Hours change. A dentist joins or leaves. A treatment is added, or one the practice no longer offers has to come off the list. The phone number in the header, on the first screen and on the contact page all have to move together. A photo stays up only while that person still works there.

ongoing website care is the follow-on: the same team changes the live site after launch. Hosting is billed on its own.

Questions practices ask before they start

Short answers. The fixed price is $3,500 including GST.

What is dentist website design?

A practice website that shows who the dentist is, where the practice is, which treatments are offered, and how to book or call.

What does dental website design in Australia mean?

The same job, for patients in Australia: a local number, a suburb, and the names of the practitioners. It is not a Sydney-only page.

Who writes the treatment pages?

The practice names the treatments. HSJ puts them on the site in plain language. The page does not give clinical advice.

Do you supply a dental website template?

No. A free template is a file the practice still has to write, host and change. This page is the practice’s own site, not a gallery of other clinics.

Can patients book online?

They can call or send an enquiry. A booking link is added only when the practice already has a system to link to.

How quickly can the site go live?

The 5-page offer is delivered in 30 days, at $3,500 including GST, once we have the dentist names, the suburb, the hours, the treatment list and the photos. A larger site takes as long as the extra pages and design take, and is quoted from $5,000 including GST.

What do I have to send you?

The practice name, the suburb, the phone, the hours, the names of the dentists, photos you are happy to publish, and the treatment list in your own words. If you already use a booking system, send the link. We do not invent treatments, and we do not give clinical advice.

Tell us about the practice

Say the practice name and the suburb. We will tell you whether five pages is enough, or whether the job belongs on a larger build.

We only use your details to respond to this enquiry.
